Challenge
Oregon Food Bank manages complex and sensitive data across programs, donations, distributions, affiliates, and volunteers. The organization faced several challenges that limited its ability to operate efficiently and measure impact effectively.
Key challenges included the need to consolidate siloed data sources into a single, trusted source of truth, improve data accuracy and accessibility for staff and leadership, and build a scalable, secure analytics platform that could be frequently updated. Strong data governance, privacy controls, and role-based access were also critical due to the sensitivity of donor and client data.

Solution
Logic Intelligence partnered with the Oregon Food Bank to design and deliver a cloud-based unified data analytics platform built on Azure Data Services and Microsoft Power Platform.
The solution centralized data ingestion from multiple operational systems using automated pipelines and established a governed analytics foundation with clearly defined data models, security architecture, and separate QA and production environments. The platform supports real-time dashboards, self-service analytics, and automated workflows while enforcing compliance, privacy, and least privilege access controls.
Logic Intelligence also led project management across multiple workstreams, collaborating with Programs, Operations, Development, Finance, IT, and affiliate food banks to ensure alignment, transparency, and on-time delivery using modern agile practices.
Services
Logic Intelligence provided end-to-end services spanning cloud architecture, data engineering, analytics, governance, and project delivery. The engagement included program and project management across multiple workstreams, requirements gathering with cross-functional stakeholders, and hands-on implementation of a unified cloud data platform. Services covered automated data ingestion, data modeling, security architecture, CI/CD and DevOps practices, dashboard and reporting development, and the establishment of QA and production environments. Logic Intelligence also led data governance initiatives, implemented role-based and least-privilege access controls, developed self-service and automation solutions using Power Platform, and supported user adoption through documentation, training, sprint ceremonies, and stakeholder reviews.
