Challenge
The Manufacturing Company’s Internet of Things organization needed to modernize and streamline partner engagement processes supporting embedded systems initiatives. Existing tools and workflows were manual, fragmented, and time-consuming for globally distributed business development teams. The organization needed to evaluate current technologies, retain critical capabilities, and identify opportunities for improvement while ensuring any new solution aligned with enterprise IT standards and security requirements.
Key challenges included gathering requirements from global stakeholders, selecting a Partner Relationship Management (PRM) system that met both business and IT needs, and automating partner data submission, validation, and reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.

Logic Intelligence provided advisory, evaluation, and implementation services throughout the initiative’s full lifecycle. Services included assessment of the existing technology landscape, identification of pain points and critical requirements, and development of a structured requirements document outlining mandatory, necessary, and desired features.
Logic Intelligence led the PRM system selection process by shortlisting candidate platforms, coordinating IT alignment and approvals, and facilitating system demonstrations using representative data. The team conducted side-by-side evaluations to objectively score each platform against requirements. In parallel, Logic Intelligence designed and implemented automated workflows and reporting solutions to validate partner submissions, notify stakeholders, and provide visibility into progress, compliance, and performance.
Solution
Logic Intelligence delivered a solution that combined strategic software selection with automated business process execution. An external, web-based PRM system was selected based on functional fit, scalability, and compliance with the Manufacturing Company’s IT standards.
Partner data submissions were automated and validated through workflow logic, reducing manual review and follow-ups. Data from Smartsheet and partner systems was automatically processed, validated, and routed to the appropriate owners. Reporting was centralized using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, providing real-time visibility into partner activity, data submission status, and overall progress. The solution enabled more frequent and reliable execution of partner processes while minimizing operational overhead.

The project successfully identified and implemented a PRM solution that improved partner engagement and operational efficiency across the Manufacturing Company’s IoT organization. End-to-end automation reduced manual intervention and enabled the process to run more frequently and reliably than before. As a result, the solution freed approximately 40 hours per week for each of five business development managers, allowing them to focus on higher-value strategic activities.
Centralized reporting improved visibility, accountability, and decision-making across the partner ecosystem, supporting more effective collaboration and execution at a global scale.
